Service Delivery Policy
This policy governs the delivery of all consulting, advisory, translation, and proofreading services provided by Placide Global Consultancy™ to clients worldwide.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Scope of Services
Placide Global Consultancy™ provides professional advisory, consulting, translation, proofreading, and operational support services to clients located anywhere in the world. All engagements are conducted remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Services are delivered in English, French, and Haitian Creole as applicable to the engagement scope. Deliverables are produced exclusively by Placide Global Consultancy™ and are not subcontracted without prior written client consent.
Engagement Process
Every engagement begins with a scoping consultation: either a complimentary 45-minute introductory session or a paid Standard or Executive Strategy consultation. After the consultation, we send a written scope confirmation and fee estimate within 24 to 48 hours.
Work begins only after you have reviewed and accepted the scope confirmation and the applicable fee has been settled in line with the Fee Settlement terms below.
Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are provided in the scope confirmation for each engagement. Timelines are indicative and may be adjusted by mutual agreement if the scope changes after work begins.
Rush engagements are available subject to availability and carry a rush premium disclosed at the time of booking. Rush requests must be confirmed in writing before work starts.
Placide Global Consultancy™ is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client, third-party dependencies outside the firm's control, or force majeure events.
Fee Settlement
All fees are quoted and settled in United States Dollars (USD). International clients are responsible for any currency conversion costs or banking fees charged by their financial institution.
Placide Global Consultancy™ accepts the following payment methods: card payment through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and select local payment methods), and inclearing and FX checks collections. All listed fees include processing costs. The price confirmed in the scope is the price paid.
Inclearing and FX checks collections is available for all eligible invoices. Payment instructions are provided upon request. Domestic inclearing items typically clear the same business day. International FX checks collections may require one to three business days to clear. Collection fees are the responsibility of the client. Inclearing and FX checks collections payments are final once received. Work begins only after full payment confirmation.
For custom consulting packages, a deposit may be required before work starts. Deposit terms are outlined in the scope confirmation.
Project Start Requirements
Placide Global Consultancy™ does not begin any consulting, advisory, or project work until payment has been fully confirmed. Payment confirmation is required for scheduling, preparation, and project initiation.
New clients paying by inclearing and FX checks collections must submit payment at least two weeks prior to the intended project start date. This buffer allows sufficient time for payment processing and confirmation before work commences.
Returning clients in good standing may submit inclearing and FX checks collections payments five business days prior to the project start date.
Card payments processed through Stripe are confirmed immediately and are not subject to the advance payment buffer.
Local vs. International Rate Justification
Placide Global Consultancy™ uses a structured pricing model that reflects the operational, regulatory, and financial requirements of each engagement. Local rates apply to clients within the United States. International rates account for cross-border banking fees, currency conversion, compliance screening, extended communication windows, and the additional operational complexity required to support international clients with clarity and precision. This structure ensures disciplined financial management and accurate support across borders.
Price Discrepancy Regulation and Adjustment Policy
Placide Global Consultancy™ maintains strict pricing consistency across all services, consulting engagements, and digital platforms. The governing price for all services is the rate listed on the most recent official invoice or written agreement issued directly by Placide Global Consultancy™. Website prices, promotional materials, or third-party listings do not override the governing price.
If a discrepancy appears, the governing price will apply. Website or material discrepancies may be corrected without notice. Price discrepancies do not qualify for retroactive adjustments, refunds, or credits. Market-based adjustments may apply to future engagements. International pricing may vary due to currency fluctuations, banking fees, regulatory requirements, or regional operational costs. Placide Global Consultancy™ is committed to clarity, discipline, and professionalism in all financial matters.
Refund Policy
Placide Global Consultancy™ operates under a no-refund policy for all consulting, advisory, translation, proofreading, and operational services. Due to the nature of professional expertise, time allocation, and intellectual deliverables, all payments are final once a service is booked or work has begun.
If a client cancels before any work has started, Placide Global Consultancy™ may offer a credit toward future services at the firm's discretion. Credits are not guaranteed and are evaluated case-by-case.
For digital products, training materials, or downloadable resources, all sales are final.
If Placide Global Consultancy™ is unable to deliver a service due to internal circumstances, the firm will either reschedule the service or issue a full refund. This applies only when the inability to deliver is on the firm's side.
Disputes must be submitted in writing within seven (7) business days of the delivery date. Placide Global Consultancy™ will review the concern and propose a good-faith resolution. If no agreement is reached, disputes are resolved through binding arbitration in Texas. Litigation is not permitted.
By booking any service, clients acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.

Confidentiality

Clients are similarly expected to treat any proprietary methodologies, frameworks, or materials provided by the firm as confidential and not to reproduce or distribute them without written permission.
Intellectual Property
